About me…
Hi there! I’m Julie, owner of JB Walking Tours and I lived in the Pilots Row neighborhood of the Presidio of San Francisco (literally across from the Golden Gate Bridge!) for 9 years.
I was previously the General Manager of the Presidio Officers’ Club, the most historic building in the Presidio. I retired in 2019.
I lead tours in other parts of San Francisco, but of course my favorite place to show visitors is the Presidio, through the park as well as the Golden Gate Bridge!
I am a native of the Bay Area, a graduate of the International Tour Management Institute and a member of the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild. My background is in event logistics management, volunteer management and visitor engagement.
I love meeting new people and taking them on walks while telling them stories about this historical, magical park.
Join me! Since we are all outdoors, a mask is not required (bring one though— it does help keep you warm on those cold and foggy days!), we’ll walk some, through some really cool areas and we’ll “talk story” .
